(3) Environmental Health Intern – EH/1030
An Environmental Health Intern will become familiar with all environmental health programs implemented by the Will County Health Department. Interns will assist sanitarians with planning, developing, and executing environmental health programs, gathering and interpreting water samples and effluent discharge samples, and conducting field inspections.

Operates the main front desk at the WCHD campus in conjunction with the established operations procedures and training. Utilizes professional customer service and communication skills to determine the needs of callers and visitors.
Staff Nurse II or III-Immunizations Clinic – FHS/014
Immunization nurse will instruct individuals and families in health promotion and disease prevention; will provide instruction in general health care and treatment to assigned clients in homes, schools, branch offices, and clinics, working in concert with the family physicians as necessary.

This position is responsible for ensuring an efficient and effective workflow for patient scheduling and registration by developing an informed and professional staff, ensuring accurate provider schedules and collaborating with key positions within the Agency for improved outcomes.

The Health Navigator works in collaboration with the COVID-19 Mass Vaccination Team, local Community-Based organizations, local health providers, various county departments, and local social service organizations to ensure that information, education, and vaccination opportunities are available to all residents in Will County.
