Job Summary
Will assist the Substance Use Treatment team in providing direct and indirect services to individuals in crisis, along with providing outreach and engagement of all individuals in the Substance Use Treatment Program to help individuals remain engaged in treatment and to promote continued access to mental health and community-related services. The candidate will be working with a youth population and, therefore, will be working offsite at schools. Schedule Monday through Friday, 7:45 am-3:45 pm.

Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent. Two (2) years of experience in a behavioral health support system. Pass the State of Illinois background check. Must have direct or indirect lived experience and familiarity with the community Substance Use Recovery System. Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) or Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (CPRS) or eligible to sit for the certification exam and pass within six (6) months of hire.
REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License with minimum auto liability insurance. Verification of employment eligibility or U.S. citizenship.
DESIRED
Bilingual in Spanish.
Salary Range
Grade 10 Hourly Wages ($21.80-$31.58)
