What Should be Added to Eastern Branch Office in Monee?

The Will County Health Department is asking Eastern Will County residents, as well as those who live in that general vicinity, to take about five minutes to fill out a survey about services offered at their Eastern Branch Office in Monee.

“We have provided access to services to the Eastern Will County area for decades,” Executive Director Sue Olenek explained. “But now we have a new office out there (located at 5601 W. Monee-Manhattan Road), with additional space. We believe it would be advantageous to offer additional services at this location, and this survey will help us determine what residents desire the most.”

Services available at the Monee office already include, for example, Environmental Health, as well as the WIC (Women, Infants, and Children Food and Nutrition Service) Program. This survey, however will help determine if residents would like these services to be more prevalent; or if they would like additional services, such as Primary Medical and Dental Care or Psychiatry, to also be added.

Olenek says it is also important to note that the Will County Health Department’s Eastern Branch Office is available to residents who live in and around the Monee area, and also for those that live in surrounding areas, such as Southern Cook County. “We are asking for each resident who fills out this survey to provide their zip code. Our goal is to determine the level and type of services needed in all nearby townships.”
