The Will County Health Department Environmental Health Division is recommending that residents of the Phelan Acres subdivision west of Wilmington, which extends as a peninsula of land near the cooling lakes, chlorinate their private water wells and pick up bottles and forms from the Health Department for water testing. The WCHD recommends testing after the flushing of the wells from chlorination treatment. The Will County Health Department’s main building is located at 501 Ella Avenue in Joliet.
