Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the governor’s recent disaster proclamation, the number of COVID-19 cases in will county, and the CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19, it is determined by the president of the Will County Board of Health that in-person meetings are not practical nor prudent.
Therefore, the meetings of the Will County Board of Health shall be held via video and/or audio until further notice. This meeting will be held via videoconference/telephonically through the Microsoft Teams events platform. Will County Board of Health members will be attending the meeting remotely and the general public is strongly encouraged to do the same.
Will County Health Department Expands Behavioral Health Services at Branch Offices
The Will County Health Department (WCHD) is in the process of expanding mental health services at both its Northern Branch Office in Bolingbrook and Eastern Branch Office in Monee. Adult, child and adolescent outpatient behavioral health services have expanded at both branch locations. Additional services from the Will County Health Department’s Behavioral Health Division are also being included in the expansion.

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, the Will County Health Department is reminding Will County residents to take precautions this holiday season to protect loved ones from foodborne Illnesses.
2024-25 COVID Vaccine Now Available
The Will County Health Department (WCHD) is informing residents that the new 2024-2025 COVID-19 vaccine is now available at the Will County Health Department Immunization Clinic.
Will County Health Department To Host Well-Woman Day On November 13
The Will County Health Department will host its third annual Well-Woman Day open to the public on Wednesday, November 13th. The event will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Joliet Chapter of the National Hookup of Black Women located at 1705 Richards Street in Joliet.
