The Will County Health Department is happy to inform everyone that after a great turnout in May, Joliet Easter Seals is once again offering virtual childhood screenings on Thursday, June 18th.  This will allow parents to have their children screened while also observing social distancing.

Developmental screenings provide parents and professionals with information on whether a child’s development is similar to children of the same age.  Screenings cannot diagnose, but can target areas of concern that may indicate that further assessments are needed.

The screening tool used is called the Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ).  It is a parent completed tool that has the parent/caregiver answer questions regarding their child’s development.

To register for participation in the Thursday, June 18th Virtual Screening Day (between 8 AM and 4 PM), please use this link: https://www.schedulicity.com/scheduling/ESJCS3/workshops.
