Job Summary
Immunization nurse will instruct individuals and families in health promotion and disease prevention; will provide instruction in general health care and treatment to assigned clients in homes, schools, branch offices, and clinics, working in concert with the family physicians as necessary. Will be required to travel to satellite offices, client homes, and vaccination events. Schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Staff Nurse II:
Accredited Diploma or Associate in Nursing and be a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State of Illinois or reciprocal State required.

Staff Nurse III:
Accredited Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and be a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State of Illinois or reciprocal State required.

REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License with minimum auto liability insurance. Verification of U.S. citizenship or employment eligibility.

DESIRED
Bi-lingual in Spanish

Salary Range

Staff Nurse II Grade 13 Hourly Wages ($26.64 – $38.59)
Staff Nurse III Grade 14 Hourly Wages ($29.61 – $42.88)
