Job Summary
Promotes the public’s health through epidemiological collection and analysis of quantitative data, primary and secondary research, resources development, program planning and development, legislative and community advocacy, and community education. Must be available evenings and weekends and able to attend off-campus meetings as needed. Schedule calls for Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s Degree in Public Health, Health, Health Education/Promotion,  Business, or Community Services. One (1) year experience in a health promotion setting. Or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Public Health, Health, Health Education/Promotion, Business, or Community Services. Five (5) years’ experience in a health promotion setting. 
 
REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License and minimum auto liability insurance. Verification of U.S. citizenship or employment eligibility.
 
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Experience working in prevention education and the public health field. Working knowledge of word processing, database, presentation, and communication computer programs. 
 
DESIRED:
Experience with HIV/STI prevention, education, and surveillance. Experience providing testing and counseling of HIV and STI-positive individuals. Bilingual in Spanish.

Salary Range

Grade 13 Hourly Wages ($26.64 – $38.59)
