Closed PODs are open only to a specific group of people, like a company for their employees and their immediate
family members. Closed PODs operate in partnership with WCHD and follow the guidelines established by WCHD.
Closed PODs are coordinated and run by a business or entity that is a part of the Will County Health Department’s
Closed POD plan.
These closed PODs dispense to a large number of people or to people who may not be able to come to a public site
receive their medication. Closed PODs help to reduce the number of people at open PODs (open for the general
public).

Requirements to be a closed POD:
- At least 100 employees and family members
- Medical personnel
