Same Day Appointments

If you are feeling sick or have a minor injury and want to see a doctor that day, we can help.

Will County Community Health Center’s walk-in clinic is pleased to offer same-day appointments for both adults and children, to provide the care you and your family need, when you need it. Walk-in patients will be seen on a “first come, first serve” basis by one of our primary care providers based on availability.

These appointments are for non-life threatening illnesses, symptoms, or minor injuries only, including the following:

Cold
Cough
Flu/Flu shots
Sore throat
Minor lacerations
Sprains and strains

Walk-in appointments are not for routine care, such as annual exams, physical or school exams, pre-operative work-up, or emergency care.

For routine care, please call (815) 727-8670 or go to www.willcountyhealth.org to schedule an appointment with a primary care provider.
For serious or life-threatening medical needs, such as chest pain, shortness of breath, stroke-like symptoms, severe pain or bleeding, please call 911 or seek immediate medical attention as soon as possible.

As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), Will County Community Health Center offers discounts based on federally established guidelines. You may be eligible for a discount if you are not covered by an insurance plan.

We accept Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, some HMOs and PPOs. Patients without insurance are on a sliding fee scale. MasterCard and Visa are also accepted.
