Under the supervision of the Division Director through immediate supervisors; plans, organizes, and evaluates the nutrition component of Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). Conducts group education and health assessments and certifies clients eligible for WIC.
Under the supervision of the Division Director through immediate supervisors; plans, organizes, and evaluates the nutrition component of Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).
Applicant will assist medical physicians and nurses with patient care activities, including collecting information from clients, escorting patients, preparing medical records, stocking exam rooms, drawing blood, and performing in-house procedures.
Utilizes financial and purchasing software to process all Department invoices, bills, claims, and purchase orders. Maintains inventory including ordering, receiving and maintaining organized supple storage. Receives and processes mail and packages.
“Access to menstrual hygiene products is an incredibly important public health issue,” said Aishwarya Balakrishna, Health Equity Manager at the Will County Health Department. “Many women face barriers in purchasing clean and quality products that are safe due to increasing prices and not having nearby access to a reliable store that carries the products they need. During Women’s History Month, we want to acknowledge this barrier and collect items to help our clients and residents.”
