This annual observance highlights the importance of getting recommended vaccines throughout your life. You have the power to protect your child against serious diseases [like whooping cough, cancers caused by HPV, and pneumonia] through on-time vaccination.
During NIAM, the Will County Health Department and Community Health Center encourages you talk to your doctor, nurse, or other healthcare provider to ensure that your child is up to date on recommended vaccines.
If you do not have a provider, please call the Will County Community Health Center at 815-727-8670 and let us help you get your child up to date on their vaccinations.
We also encourage you to visit CDC’s Interactive Vaccine Guide, which provides information on the vaccines recommended during pregnancy and throughout your child’s life.
