Environmental Health Assistant (Monee) – EH/018
Under the direct supervision of the Program Coordinator of Environmental Health. Performs routine clerical duties for environmental programs such as sewage programs and well programs, including, but not limited to, issuing permits, food programs, collecting fees, extensive record-keeping, preparing outgoing correspondence, and customer service for all Environmental Health Programs. Schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm.
Program Manager-Immunizations – FHS/116
Supervise and facilitate daily operations of the WCHD Immunizations and Travel Immunizations Clinics, and act as backup Vaccine Coordinator. Frequent travel to branch offices, offsite clinics, and outreach activities.
Medical Secretary – BH/042
The candidate will be responsible for medical records, responding to all incoming record requests, sending records, and working with third-party vendors to retrieve medical records. Requests will come from various sources (in-person, faxes, email, etc.). Answering incoming calls and making outgoing calls regarding medical records is another facet of the position.
Staff Nurse II (Infectious Disease) – CHC/025
Under the direct supervision of the Clinic Manager, the applicant will provide general nursing care and leadership while working collaboratively with physicians and other multidisciplinary team members. They will educate individuals and families in health promotion and disease prevention and provide instruction in general health care and treatment to assigned patients.
(3) Environmental Health Intern – EH/1030-001, 002, 004
Environmental Health Intern will become familiar with all environmental health programs implemented by the Will County Health Department. Interns will assist sanitarians with planning, developing, and executing environmental health programs, gathering and conducting field inspections.
Customer Service Specialist – CHC/031
The Customer Service Specialist will serve as the liaison between the Will County Health Department and its current and potential customers, clients, and patients (patrons).
Nutrition Specialist (Bolingbrook) – FHS/071
Under the supervision of the Division Director through immediate supervisors; plans, organizes, and evaluates the nutrition component of Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). Conducts group education and health assessments and certifies clients eligible for WIC.

Under the supervision of the Division Director through immediate supervisors; plans, organizes, and evaluates the nutrition component of Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).
Certified Medical Assistant (Infectious Disease) – CHC/116
Applicant will assist medical physicians and nurses with patient care activities, including collecting information from clients, escorting patients, preparing medical records, stocking exam rooms, drawing blood, and performing in-house procedures.
Accounts Payable Specialist – CHC/035
Utilizes financial and purchasing software to process all Department invoices, bills, claims, and purchase orders. Maintains inventory including ordering, receiving and maintaining organized supple storage. Receives and processes mail and packages.

Administrative Clerk I (Bolingbrook) – FHS/129
Duties include a high level of data entry, telephone reception, registration scheduling, and using customer service skills. Position is for the WCHD WIC Program. Schedule Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm, and Wednesday, 10:30 am-6:30 pm. Candidate must be able to travel to other sites as needed.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – CHC/009
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing, the applicant will provide general nursing care and leadership while working collaboratively with physicians and other multidisciplinary team members.
Temporary Mobile Unit Driver – CHC/1030-011
Works under the supervision of the Director of Operations. This individual will be assigned as the driver of the 42’ long Mobile Health Vehicle. The applicant will drive the mobile health vehicle to local community shelters, schools, and other sites. Performs routine maintenance and safety checks prior to and after each route. Maintains the cleanliness and operational condition of the vehicle’s interior and equipment.
Physician Provider – Family Medicine – CHC/056
Provides a full scope of primary and preventative health care services to all adults and children to meet the health care needs of clinic patients.
