Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Division Director through immediate supervisors; plans, organizes, and evaluates the nutrition component of Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). Conducts group education, and health assessments and certifies clients eligible for WIC. Performs hemoglobin screenings; assesses needs for health and social services; develops an individual care plan in conjunction with clients; periodic assessments, follow-up, and referral activities. Schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:30 am-4:30 pm. Wednesday hours 10:30 am-6:30 pm. Must be flexible to work at satellite clinics and hours as assigned, including evenings.
Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Accredited Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Dietetics, or Food Nutrition.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License and minimum auto liability insurance. Verification of U.S. citizenship or employment eligibility.
DESIRED:
Bilingual in Spanish.
Salary Range
Grade 12 Hourly Wages ($20.11-$31.37)
