Celebrating National Public Health Week

The Will County Health Department and Community Health Center are proud to celebrate National Public Health Week during the week of April 6-13. National Public Health Week is celebrated annually during the first full week of April to recognize the contributions of public health and highlight issues that are important to improving our nation’s health. 



Reimbursement Specialist (Bolingbrook) – BH/077

Responsible for maximizing receipts of revenue through training, problem-solving, advanced knowledge of health services, billing, and payer requirements, and implementation of a quality assurance system in billing procedures and collections. Knowledge of diagnostic, procedural coding, and payer requirements in medical services.

Environmental Health Assistant (Monee) – EH/018

Under the direct supervision of the Program Coordinator of Environmental Health. Performs routine clerical duties for environmental programs such as sewage programs and well programs, including, but not limited to, issuing permits, food programs, collecting fees, extensive record-keeping, preparing outgoing correspondence, and customer service for all Environmental Health Programs. Schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm.
