Under the supervision of the Division Director through immediate supervisors; plans, organizes, and evaluates the nutrition component of Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). Conducts group education and health assessments and certifies clients eligible for WIC.
Promotes the public’s health through epidemiological collection and analysis of quantitative data, primary and secondary research, resources development, program planning and development, legislative and community advocacy, and community education.
Plans, organizes, conducts, or coordinates and evaluates nutritional components of the women, Infants, and Children (WIC) or general Public Health Programs.
Immunization nurse will instruct individuals and families in health promotion and disease prevention; will provide instruction in general health care and treatment to assigned clients in homes, schools, branch offices, and clinics, working in concert with the family physicians as necessary.
