Under the supervision of the Division Director through immediate supervisors; plans, organizes, and evaluates the nutrition component of Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). Conducts group education and health assessments and certifies clients eligible for WIC.
Under the supervision of the Division Director through immediate supervisors; plans, organizes, and evaluates the nutrition component of Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).
Instructs individuals and families in health promotion and disease prevention; provides instruction in general health care and treatment to assigned clients in homes, schools, branch offices, and clinics, working in concert with the family physicians as necessary.
Duties include a high level of data entry, telephone reception, registration scheduling, and using customer service skills. Position is for the WCHD WIC Program. Schedule Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm, and Wednesday, 10:30 am-6:30 pm. Candidate must be able to travel to other sites as needed.
