Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Program Coordinator of Environmental Health. Performs routine clerical duties for environmental programs such as sewage programs and well programs, including but not limited to issuing permits, food programs, collecting fees, extensive record keeping, preparing outgoing correspondence, and customer service for all Environmental Health Programs. Schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.

Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent. Three (3) years of clerical support background. The passing of the Health Department’s clerical test.
REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License and minimum auto liability insurance. Verification of employment eligibility.
DESIRED
Bilingual in Spanish.
Salary Range
Grade 9 Hourly Wages ($18.82 -$26.59)
