Job Summary
Applicant will be working assisting Certified School Health Nurse Practitioner in patient care activities, including collecting information from students, escorting students, preparing medical records, stocking exam rooms, and drawing blood, along with performing in-house procedures. The candidate will be expected to work at Brooks Middle School in Bolingbrook, along with traveling to satellite offices if the school-based clinic is closed. The employee’s work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm.

Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent. Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with a CMA certificate.
REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License with minimum auto liability insurance. Verification of U.S. citizenship or employment eligibility. Separate background checks will be conducted by the school and Will County Health Department.
DESIRED
CPR Certification, Electronic Medical Records and NextGen computer experience. Experience working with school-age children, and Bilingual in Spanish.
Salary Range
$45,115 (Starting Salary (Grade 10, Step 13) to
$63,746 (Top of the range (Grade 10, Step 27)
