WILL COUNTY MAPP COLLABORATIVE
The Mobilizing for Action Through Planning and Partnerships (MAPP) Collaborative program works to bring together community partners, residents and local organizations to assess health needs, set shared priorities and implement strategies that improve the health and well-being of all Will County residents.
					What is MAPP?
Health extends beyond medical care, it’s shaped by the environments where people live, learn, work, worship and play. Achieving health means fostering conditions that support complete physical, mental, social and spiritual well-being. The Will County Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnerships (MAPP) Collaborative provides a framework to strategically improve community health outcomes through collective action. Together, we identify community needs, leverage local assets and implement strategies that strengthen the conditions for healthy living.
The MAPP process is inclusive and community-driven, engaging a cross-sector network of partners across Will County. Participants include civic and volunteer groups, local and state government agencies, educational institutions, faith-based organizations, hospitals, law enforcement and many others who bring diverse perspectives and resources to the table.
MAPP has been implemented in Will County since 2011, with our sixth iteration beginning Fall 2025.
