Due to the sharp reduction in COVID-19 positive cases in Will County, the movement from substantial community transmission to low community transmission, the increase in ICU bed availability, and the lifting of the mask mandate by Governor Pritzker, the Board of Health President has determined that meeting in person is both practical and prudent for all meetings of the will county board of health effective march 11, 2022.

As the calendar gets late in the year, the Will County Health Department and Community Health Center are reminding residents that the new COVID-19 vaccine is available at both the Will County Health Department and the Will County Community Health Center.
Will County Health Department To Host Well-Woman Day On November 1
The Will County Health Department is hosting a Well-Woman Day open to the public on Wednesday, November 1st. The event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Community Room of the Will County Health Department’s main office at 501 Ella Avenue in Joliet.
