The Will County Health Department has been awarded with a Silver Designation for workplace health by the Will County MAPP (Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnerships) Collaborative.
The Health Department will be honored for their employee health initiatives during a special MAPP luncheon at Silver Cross Hospital on Friday October 12th.
In addition, the Will County Health Department has been designated as a Bronze Level Workplace by the AHA (American Heart Association). This award also recognizes the efforts of employers that emphasize healthy living through a variety of programs for employees.
