It has been an annual tradition for the Behavioral Health Division of the Will County Health Department, led by Dr. Joseph Troiani, to participate in the Catholic Charities Diocese of Joliet Back to School Fair.  This year’s event is set for Thursday August 2nd, 10 AM to 5 PM, at Joliet Catholic Academy, 1200 N. Larkin in Joliet, 10 AM to 5 PM.  Each child will receive a packet with donated school supplies.

Also participating this year will be the Will County Health Department’s Family Services Division, as they will be helping provide the free health services and screenings available from 10 AM to 3 PM.   FHS’ Lyyti Dudczyk will be providing lead screenings for the children.

This is a one stop health and human services event for low-income families living in Will County, who have children up to 18 years old.  No preregistration is needed, and Spanish interpreters will be present.  Identification is needed for all household members (students and the parents or guardians who are with them), along with proof of income and verification of address.

Any child attending must be accompanied by an adult; or if a parent or guardian of a student cannot be there the adult who brought them must have required documentation.
