Coming Soon for Will County Residents!
In the month of June, the Will County Health Department (WCHD) will be hosting two virtual townhalls to discuss COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy and access (in English and Spanish). WCHD and local medical professionals will answer questions and concerns you may have about the COVID-19 vaccines.
You will be able to submit a question when you register. We will answer as many as possible during the sessions. Both town halls will be recorded and links to the recordings will be available on our Facebook page and website.

Just ask and we can assist you in selecting a clinic that provides you with the vaccine you want.
Plus, getting vaccinated is simple. With options to walk in or schedule online, there is an option available that will meet your needs.

You must be 18 or older to receive the Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccine.
VACCINATE YOUR CHILD AGE 12-17!
Will County Health Department’s COVID-19 vaccination sites are now open to children ages 12 to 17 for the two-dose Pfizer vaccine. Previously, only 16 and older could receive the vaccine.
All minors under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present during their appointment and must remain with the child throughout the entire visit.
Children ages 12-17 may only receive the Pfizer vaccine which has been approved by the FDA and CDC.
Can’t Attend Appointment With Your Child?
If a parent or legal guardian is unable to accompany their child to a clinic run by Will County Health Department, their child can still receive a vaccine if:
- The minor is accompanied by someone over the age of 18 designated by their parent or legal guardian, and
- The minor brings the consent FORM signed by their parent or legal guardian.

VACCINES FOR HOMEBOUND
Do you know someone who is interested in receiving a COVID vaccine who is unable to get out of the house due to medical limitations?
Consider applying for our homebound vaccination program through the Will County Health Department! Click the link to apply, and we will follow up with you as soon as we can! We want to get everyone vaccinated, especially those who are most at-risk and homebound.
