COVID-19 News Update

April 30, 2021

THANK YOU JOLIET FIRE DEPARTMENT

Since the beginning of the Vaccine Roll Out – the Joliet Fire Department was there.  They have selflessly volunteered their time and quickly mobilized to help distribute vaccines to Will County Residents.

Because of their efforts, over 50,000 vaccines were given at the Joliet West High School Vaccine Clinic.

There aren’t enough words to thank Chief Blaskey, Deputy Chief Carey, Dr. Strotkamp and the countless volunteers who were there for all of us when we needed them most.

With the opening of our other vaccine locations at the former Toys R Us, Wilmington and Monee over the past several weeks, the Joliet West High School Vaccine Clinic will be phasing out operations over the next week and only offering second doses in their final week of operations.

Please join us in paying tribute to these heroes! We are forever grateful to you for your tireless work!

GET YOUR 16-18 YEAR OLD VACCINATED

16 to 18 year olds are highly encouraged to get vaccinated and are only eligible for the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine which the FDA has authorized to prevent COVID-19 in individuals 16 years of age and older under.  If you are 16, we ask you to be accompanied by your parent or guardian to confirm your age.
