Family Planning & Teen Clinic

Our family planning services, and education improve the well-being of our community by reducing unintended pregnancies, improving fetal health, reducing the incident of abortion, sexually transmitted diseases and promoting overall healthy family planning for both males and females. All Will County residents are assured equal access to quality family planning information including: clinical, educational, social referral services and follow up. Will County Community Health Center does not provide abortion services as a method of family planning.

The Will County Community Health Center assists teens, transgender, women and men in understanding and taking responsibility for their reproductive health through education, counseling, medical services and birth control methods.

Birth Control & Contraception

Education is an important part on helping you make a choice about birth control. We will help you learn more about your body and the methods of birth control available.

  • FREE Condoms

  • Male and Female Physical Assessments

  • Abstinence and Safe Sex Education

  • Education on Birth Control Methods for individuals

  • Hormonal and Non-hormonal Contraception and Emergency Contraception

Reproductive Health Services

The Family Planning Program provides services for women of child-bearing age by providing services to help them achieve their reproductive life plan.

  • Pregnancy Diagnosis/Options Counseling

  • Reproductive Health Issues, Pregnancy, Nutrition, and Infertility

  • Minor and Special GYN Problems and Procedures

  • Fertility Regulation

Sexually Transmitted Diseases

Counseling and confidential (private) testing for STDs are provided by trained non-judgmental, multi-cultural providers who are sensitive to your needs and concerns in a state-of-the-art facility.

  • STD Testing, Treatment, Follow-up and Referral

  • HIV Risk Assessment, Testing, Education & Counseling

Mental Health Counseling & Support Services

The Will County Community Health Center offers counseling and support services in the following areas:

  • Sexual Coercion

  • Domestic Violence and Abuse Counseling

  • Substance Abuse

  • Depression & Mental Health Screening


We are committed to providing high quality care, by taking the time to listen, answer your questions and address your needs. You can rest assured that everything you discuss with our staff will be kept private. English/Spanish translators are available on a daily basis, we have made a substantial effort to employ bilingual physicians, nurses and medical assistants.

Hours: Monday-Thursday: 8:00am – 6:00pm Friday:  8:00am – 4:00pm Saturday: 7:30am – 3:30pm

Teens: also welcome during regular business hours; cost is sliding fee scale based on teen’s income. May be low to no cost if there is no income.

Hours: Tuesday and Thursday: 10:00am to 6:00pm
