Portable John, Inc; located at 1414 Canal Street in Lockport since 1987, has come forward with a very important effort during the Coronavirus crisis in Will County. Since March 31, 2020, they have been donating portable toilets in key areas around the county with no charge for maintenance and supplies of the units. “I approached Mike Harvey of Portable John, Inc about our concerns to supply sanitary waste stations in various locations for the public to use,” Will County Health Department Environmental Health Director Tom Casey explained. “Mr. Harvey consulted with the ownership and their reply was immediate. He stated that their company would be more than willing to do their fair share during the crisis.”
Portable John, Inc’s generosity and assistance has given the public a safe and sanitary facility for basic human needs. The Will County Health Department and Community Health Center would like to extend their most sincere gratitude to Portable John, Inc and their staff for their kind gestures and continued efforts. “Their company,” Casey concluded, “make the term ‘we are all in this together’ a true reality.
