Will County’s MAPP (Mobilizing for Action Through Planning and Partnerships) is designed to provide a community-driven, comprehensive framework for assessing needs and addressing strategic issues.

During the annual MAPP Fall Forum, participants are awarded for their participation in the WeWill WorkHealthy program, as they are cited for offering health and wellness opportunities for their employees within their work location and environment.

This year’s winners were announced during the MAPP Fall Forum 2019 on September 13th at Amita Health St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.  The Honorable Mention winners were Joliet Central High School and Ravin Enterprises.  Bronze awards went to Rathbun, Cservanyak, and Kozol; the Joliet Area YMCA, the Village of Plainfield, Easter Seals of Joliet, Hollywood Casino Joliet, and 515 Fitness.  The University of Saint Franics and the Will County Health Department took the Silver Awards, with the Gold Award once again going to Silver Cross Hospital.

Participants in MAPP provide one or more of the essential core public health functions; including, but not limited to, community based organizations, social service agencies, hospitals, community health centers, local health department, schools, colleges and universities, law enforcement and businesses.
