Illinois Vaccine Access Program

The Illinois Vaccine Access Program (IVAP) is a new state-funded initiative that provides low to no cost vaccines to Illinois residents regardless of insurance. Local health departments —including Will County Health Department—can now order and provide certain vaccines to help remove barriers to care.

What is Illinois Vaccine Access Program (IVAP)?

Overseen by Illinois Department of Public Health, IVAP is a state-funded initiative that supports local health departments with the option to directly order certain vaccines at no cost for Illinoisans who may otherwise lack access. No one will be turned away due to the inability to pay. IVAP and the Will County Health Department are committed to expanding vaccine access, reducing health disparities, and supporting the well-being of every resident.

Vaccines protect you, your family, and your community. IVAP ensures that cost is never a barrier to staying healthy.
