Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the governor’s recent disaster proclamation, the number of COVID-19 cases in will county, and the CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19, it is determined by the president of the Will County Board of Health that in-person meetings are not practical nor prudent.
Therefore, the meetings of the Will County Board of Health shall be held via video and/or audio until further notice. This meeting will be held via videoconference/telephonically through the Microsoft Teams events platform. Will County Board of Health members will be attending the meeting remotely and the general public is strongly encouraged to do the same.
WCHD Adds 10 Naloxone Distribution Boxes Throughout Will County
The Will County Health Department is making access to the life-saving, overdose-reversing drug Naloxone (Narcan) easier with the installation of 10 red naloxone distribution boxes located throughout Will County.
Will County Health Department Closed 1/15/24
The Will County Health Department and Community Health Center will be closed on Monday, January 15, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, January 16.

As the calendar gets late in the year, the Will County Health Department and Community Health Center are reminding residents that the new COVID-19 vaccine is available at both the Will County Health Department and the Will County Community Health Center.
