VISION AND HEARING PROGRAM
The Will County Health Department provides vision and hearing screening for all ages. The main goal of the program is early detection of vision and hearing problems in children.

About the Vision and Hearing Program
Vision and Hearing screenings are performed for school age children three and older. The main goal of the vision and hearing program is early detection of vision and hearing problems in children.
Certified technicians provide the vision and hearing screenings at schools and preschools. Screenings are also done once a month at the Health Department by appointment.
The vision screenings are not meant as a substitute for a professional examination by an eye doctor, as the Will County Health Department does not have an optometrist on staff.
