Job Summary
Under the direction of the Program Coordinator of Epidemiology and Communicable Disease, provide overall management and support for a unified congregate response to Healthcare Acquired Infections and Multi-Drug Resistant Organisms as required by IDPH. In addition, assist congregate settings with establishing and implementing training programs for response, investigation procedures, and infection control practices identified in various congregate settings.

Minimum Qualifications

A Master’s Degree in Public Health, Nursing or Healthcare Administration from an accredited institution or completion of a two (2) year internship with the CDC Epidemiology Intelligence Service OR a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing with two (2) years full-time experience in healthcare and/or public health setting working with Healthcare Associated Infections, Infection Prevention and Control, Antimicrobial resistance, program implementation of Patient Safety. And, two (2) years full-time management or supervisory experience in Public Health Administration or Healthcare.

Verification of U.S. citizenship or employment eligibility. Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License with minimum auto liability insurance.

Bilingual in Spanish. Experience with Salesforce program.
