Job Summary
Candidate will provide overall management and support for LHD Respiratory Surveillance & Outbreak Response Grant (RSORG-25). Complete and submit required quarterly reports. Requires travel to and ability to support multiple types of facilities to build local capacity and expertise for reporting, rapid containment of respiratory diseases and outbreak prevention and management.

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Nursing, or Biological Sciences from an accredited institution with two (2) years of experience in healthcare and/or congregate settings working with HAIs, Infection Prevention and Control (IPC), Antimicrobial resistance (AR), program implementation or Patient Safety (PS)

OR

A Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Nursing, or Biological Sciences with five (5) years of full-time experience in healthcare and/or congregate settings working with HAIs, Infection Prevention and Control (IPC), Antimicrobial resistance (AR), program implementation or Patient Safety (PS).

REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License, minimum auto liability insurance. Verification of employment eligibility.

DESIRED
Bilingual in Spanish. Certified in Infection Control (CIC) OR Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) with 2 years or more of experience working in long-term care facilities, schools, correctional facilities, or hospitals.

Commensurate with experience
