Job Summary
Candidate will work under the supervision of the MCR Program Coordinator, as a full time provider of intensive Mental Health Services for children and adolescents (C&A) and adults along with families. Provides intensive Mental Health Services, including, but not limited to, pre-admission screening, crisis stabilization, C&A, and adults with mental illness or emotional disorder that are at risk for psychiatric hospitalization. Crisis assessments are conducted to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions and maintain C&A and adults in the home. Schedule calls for working some nights and Saturdays. Tuesday 10:00 am-6:00 pm, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8:30 am-4:30 pm, and Saturday 8:00 am-4:00 pm.
Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
MH Counselor III-An accredited Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related behavioral health field, Licensed Practitioner of Healing Arts (LPHA), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License with minimum auto liability insurance. Verification of U. S. citizenship or employment eligibility.
DESIRED:
Bilingual in Spanish, IM+CANS certified/CADC
Salary Range
Grade 14 Hourly Wage ($24.83 – $38.72)
