This candidate will be responsible for providing a wide array of services to youth clients and their families to promote opportunities for maximum independence in the community. Primary responsibilities include the assessments, planning, implementing, coordination, monitoring, and ongoing evaluation of services provision to severely emotionally disturbed (SED) or mentally ill individuals and their families. The responsible individuals will collaborate with medical and other allied personnel in diagnosis and treatment planning and delivery. Candidates may be required to work Saturdays and evening hours, along with travel. Schedule 8:00am-4:00pm.
An accredited Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy, with two (2) years of clinical experience with providing clinical services exclusively to Children and Adolescents. Must have working knowledge of the following: Department of Children and Family Services, Guardianship Rights and Laws, and Individual Education Plans.
Must possess current and valid Licensure in Illinois as either a: Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License, with minimum auto liability insurance. Verification of employment eligibility or U. S. citizenship.
Experience with child and adolescent mental health and knowledge of substance abuse counseling, crisis intervention, and case management a plus.
Grade 15 Hourly Wage ($27.59 – $43.02)
