Job Summary
This candidate will be responsible for providing a wide array of services to clients and their families to promote opportunities for maximum independence in the community. Primary responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing coordination, monitoring, and ongoing evaluation of services provision to severely emotionally disturbed (SED) or mentally ill individuals referred by the legal system (i.e. Probation, Parole, DCFS, etc). The responsible individuals will collaborate with medical and other allied personnel in diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery. Schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, with some evening hours. Home location will be Bolingbrook, but must have ability to travel to other sites.
Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Mental Health Counselor II:
An accredited Master’s Degree in Counseling and Guidance, Rehabilitation Counseling, Social Work, Vocational Counseling, Pastoral Psychology Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Completed a practicum or internship that included a minimum of 1,000 hours of supervised direct service or one year of clinical experience under the supervision of a Qualified Mental Health Professional.
Mental Health Counselor III:
An individual who possesses an accredited Master’s in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy, with two (2) years of clinical experience providing Illinois rule 132 mental health services exclusively to adults, their families, and identified support systems. The individual must possess and maintain current and valid licensure in Illinois as either a: Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License with minimum auto liability insurance.
Verification of employment eligibility or U.S. citizenship.

Salary Range
Grade 14 Hourly Wages to ($30.49-$44.17)
Grade 15 Hourly Wages to ($33.88-$49.08)
