Job Summary
This candidate will be responsible for providing a wide array of services to youth clients and their families to promote opportunities for maximum independence in the community. Primary responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, monitoring, and ongoing evaluation of services provision to severely emotionally disturbed (SED) or mentally ill individuals and their families. The responsible individuals will collaborate with medical and other allied personnel in diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery. Candidate may be required to work evening hours and travel. Schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
An accredited Master’s Degree in counseling and guidance, rehabilitation counseling, social work, vocational counseling, pastoral psychology counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Completed a practicum or internship that included a minimum of 1,000 hours of supervised direct service or one year of clinical experience under the supervision of a Qualified Mental Health Professional.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License with minimum auto liability insurance. Verification of employment eligibility or U.S. citizenship.

DESIRED:
Experience with child and adolescent mental health and knowledge of substance abuse counseling, crisis intervention, and case management a plus.

Salary Range

Grade 14 Hourly Wage ($30.49-$44.17)
