Job Summary
Works under the supervision of the Adult Services Program Coordinator. Provides direct clinical services to a chronic mentally ill adult population: comprehensive mental health assessments; development and implementation of Individual Treatment Plans; mental health case management, psychosocial rehabilitation, community support services; crisis intervention, and psychotherapy. Must be proficient in providing treatment and skill-development services in group settings. Primary population focus will be on adult mentally ill population and, those consumers who may have a mental illness and a co-occurring substance abuse problem. The applicant will provide case management and treatment services for all individuals enrolled in WCMHC and may work at multiple WCHD office locations. Ability to pass IMCANS certification. Flexible hours, including evening and weekends. Schedule, Monday through Friday 8:30am-4:30pm.

Minimum Qualifications

An accredited Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy, with one (1) year of clinical experience, Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Verification of employment eligibility or U.S. citizenship. Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License, with minimum auto liability insurance

Bilingual in Spanish. Computer literacy including word processing, spreadsheets, and statistical programs.

Salary Range

Grade 14 Hourly Wage ($24.83 – $38.72)
