Job Summary
Candidate will work under the supervision of the 590 Program Coordinator, as a full time Liaison. Establishes and maintains relationships with community providers. Provides education to community programs to further educate the community regarding mental health issues. Provides education regarding resource and outreach to community agencies and users of the system, including but not limited to: Local Area Network membership, hospitals, pediatricians, schools, law enforcement and other service agencies or providers, Coordinates and prepares educational programs. Schedule, Monday-Friday 8:30 am-4:30 pm.

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
MH Counselor I
Accredited Bachelor’s in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy, with two (2) years of clinical experience with providing clinical services under the supervision of a QMHP.

MH Counselor II
Accredited Master’s in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License with minimum auto liability insurance. Verification of U.S. citizenship or employment eligibility.

Salary Range

Mental Health Counselor I
Wages 13 Hourly Wage ($22.34 – $34.85)

Mental Health Counselor II
Wages 14 Hourly Wages ($24.83 – $38.72)
