Works under the supervision of the Adult Services Program Manager. Provides direct clinical services to a chronic mentally ill adult population: comprehensive mental health assessments; development and implementation of Individual Treatment Plans; mental health case management, psychosocial rehabilitation, community support services; crisis intervention, and psychotherapy. Must be proficient in providing treatment and skill-development services in group settings. Services are to be provided in various settings (on and off site). Primary population focus will be on court mandated adult mentally ill population and also, those consumers who may have a mental illness and a co-occurring substance abuse problem. The applicant will conduct comprehensive Pre-Admission Screenings, Re-Assessments and Resident Reviews for the Pre-Admission Screening Mental Health (PAS/MH) Program to eligible consumers located at area hospitals and nursing home facilities. Applicant must have extensive working knowledge of Illinois statutes pertaining to Mental Health and Problem Solving Courts. The applicant will participate as a member of the Will County Mental Health Court (WCMHC) team and provide trainings on key mental health issues at team staffing and testify (if called upon) at court proceedings. The applicant will provide case management and treatment services for all individuals enrolled in WCMHC and work at multiple WCHD office locations. Flexible hours, including evening and weekends.
An accredited Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy, with one (1) year of clinical experience, Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC ) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) DESIRED: Certified Alcohol and other Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC) certification/eligibility and/or Bilingual in Spanish. Computer literacy including word processing, spreadsheets, and statistical programs.
Grade 14 Hourly Wage ($24.83 - $38.72)
