Job Summary	An Environmental Health Intern will become familiar with all environmental health programs implemented by the Will County Health Department (WCHD). Interns will assist sanitarians with planning, development, and execution of environmental health programs and conduct field inspections. Environmental Health Intern will develop an understanding of regulations and local codes applicable to the environmental health programs. Applicant should have the ability to work in all weather conditions in summer months.
Minimum Qualifications	Individual working toward an accredited Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree, which includes a minimum of thirty (30) semester or forty-five (45) quarter hours in biological and/or physical sciences and requires an internship prior to completion of degree and/or graduation.
Salary Range	Hourly Wage: $12.00
