JJC Cares: Healing from Community Violence, Trauma, & Grief - Tues. Nov. 9th
WILL COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT
Tuesday, Nov. 9th | 5-8PM
In response to the traumatic event occurring at the Halloween party in Joliet, our Joliet Junior College students and other community members have been struggling with three main factors: Direct trauma, grief, and struggle with supporting victims of the trauma and grief. This event will provide education and group support in all three of those areas. In addition, outside agencies will be present to offer their resources to those in need of continuing support.
As this event has affected our community as a whole, it will be open to all community members (over 18 years old unless currently enrolled at JJC).
