Job Summary

The Behavioral Health (BH) Director manages and directs the operations of BH services.

The BH Director oversees the treatment of patients with emotional, mental, psychological, or substance use disorders to improve the quality of life for patients. Develops, implements, and updates strategic initiatives, programs, and services to ensure effective and efficient operations.

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree from an accredited institution in psychology, counseling, social work, health administration, or other behavioral health field, along with being a Licensed Psychologist, Registered Nurse, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Practitioner of Healing Arts. Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with behavioral health program management experience including experience in crisis intervention, diagnosis, assessment, and treatment. Minimum of five (5) years’ of managerial experience.

REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License, minimum auto liability insurance. Verification of U.S. citizenship or employment eligibility.
