Job Summary
Develops the overall outreach strategy to increase program participation and insurance enrollment among community members. This individual will be supervising three to five community outreach staff and will work to increase insurance enrollment among uninsured Will County Community Health Center (WCCHC) patients and the Will County Community. This position will develop a plan for community outreach for the WCCHC to include social media messaging, patient education and other marketing activities. Will be responsible to assist with the development of various grant applications and progress reports. Must be willing to become a super-user for Nextgen E.H.R. to develop and deliver population health campaigns. Schedule, Monday through Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm and every other month Saturday.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Health Policy Administration, Marketing or Business with five (5) years of experience in the healthcare environment. One (1) year of social media experience and two (2) years of experience using Governmental and other institutional databases for obtaining research statistics.

Verification of U.S. citizenship or employment eligibility. Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License, minimum auto liability insurance.

Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizations skills. Experiences with gathering, analyzing, and evaluating data. Working knowledge of computer applications, including CANVA, word processing, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Strong leadership skills.
