Job Summary
Applicant will be working assisting medical physicians and nurses in patient care activities, including collecting information from clients, escorting patients, preparing medical records, stocking exam rooms, and drawing blood along with performing in-house procedures. Candidate will be expected to work in Family, OB, and BH areas of the clinic along with traveling to satellite offices if the school-based clinic is closed. Schedule, Monday through Friday 8:00am–4:00pm.

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Candidate must be a graduate from an accredited medical assistant program with a CMA certificate.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License with minimum auto liability insurance. Verification of U.S. citizenship or employment eligibility.

DESIRED:
CPR Certification and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Next Gen Computer experience. Experience working in a school or community health center. Bilingual in Spanish.

Salary Range

Grade 10 Hourly Wages ($17.75 – $27.69)
