Works under the supervision of the Division/Department Head through immediate supervisor as directed or required. Duties include telephone reception, registration scheduling, filing, timekeeping and using customer service skills, compiling and maintaining records of activities and transactions, and performing a variety of disparate clerical duties using knowledge of systems and procedures. May be required to cross-train to other programs within FHS. Evening and weekend hours are possible but would be planned in advance.
The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
Administrative Clerk I: High School diploma or equivalent. One (1) year of clerical or similar clerical background required. Pass Health Department clerical testing.
Administrative Clerk II: High School diploma or equivalent. Two (2) years of clerical or similar background is required. Proficiency in performing the essential job function of Administrative Clerk I. Pass the Health Department clerical testing.
Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License with minimum auto liability insurance. Verification of U.S. citizenship or employment eligibility.
Bi-lingual in Spanish.
Grade 8 Hourly Wages ($15.92 – $23.64)
Grade 9 Hourly Wages ($16.76 – $24.88)
